Nathan Allison On Using YouTube Effectively

In this PWA-exclusive conversation, Director Jen Adams sits down with Nathan Allison to talk all things YouTube… but especially using YouTube with clients.

Nathan is a video editor, writer, and content strategist for people looking to grow their YouTube channels. Day-to-day, he works with his YouTube clients to script and create various types of videos, post them up with eye-catching graphics, monitor the response, and adjust things based on what the numbers reveal.

Nathan has already shared quite a number of useful YouTube tips with the PWA community as a part of his guest essay series, YouTube BasicsIf you haven’t read that yet, jump over and do that (especially the essay about which scripts work best with YouTube audiences!). In this conversation, Jen and Nathan build on that series.

You’re going to hear:

  • What it’s like getting started on YouTube and how you can familiarize yourself with YouTube’s primary dashboards and creator tools
  • Why YouTube campaigns aren’t like other types of sales collateral (pro tip:  You never, never, want to take them down)
  • How to keep an eye on YouTube trends, including when you’ll want to be a trend follower and when you want to be a contrarian with your client strategies
  • What to say to YouTube clients who are looking to “go viral” on the platform (and how to manage their expectations in way that benefits you both long-term)

Plus much, much more… including how to keep in touch with Nathan in case you need YouTube advice, tips, or additional help in the future!
