Parris Lampropoulos: Secrets of the A-listers

This special interview has been resurrected! After PWA member Richard Beas discovered that in September 2013 the legendary Parris Lampropoulos had done an interview with Sean McCool for PWA, he wanted to hear it. Trouble was, over the years, that interview recording had fallen out of our archives.

No more. We found it, and it’s back here for you to listen to now (audio only, no video — this pre-dates the “Zoom Call” era).

Here’s why you’ll want to make time for this…

  • Parris learned from the original “Copy Godfathers” — and whenever possible, he suggests you do the same by always seeking out the original versions and original courses, rather than relying on derivative works (or these days, the sloppy AI summaries)
  • Parris shares his secret for writing great promotions for information products — including how to uncover and use hidden benefits for maximum impact in sidebars
  • There’s a great discussion on the benefits behind the benefits, going deeper into your prospects emotions, and making your copy gripping, engaging, and un-put-downable
  • Parris believes a winning mindset makes a difference (and he shares his top tips for creating one yourself)
  • While he’s written blockbuster controls for Agora, Boardroom, Rodale, and others, Parris is most proud about something else. “I’ve turned hundreds of thousands of people on to really cool stuff, especially in the area of alternative health.”

There more, of course — a lot more! This interview is packed with timeless tips and insights, so even if some of the conversation is very “of its time” I know you’ll be able to look past the time period to hang onto the solid gold that Parris shares.

Happy listening!

P.S. In the interview, Parris references an even older resource, his article How to Make Your Copy So Compelling People Can’t Put it Down. We’ve found that as well. Enjoy!
